Sure, but it could've saved em a helluva lotta cash and gotten them in a better position to have cap space eventually. But they used it, so moot.

Copeland. I honestly have no idea if this'll effect him, but that guy can play.

Hope he get well soon.

Re: Amare out six weeks with knee procedure
He should have just had both knees done back in October.

Re: Amare out six weeks with knee procedure
This really sucks....unbelievable.
Knicks have got to pick someone up for the playoffs. They're going to need to dump Rasheed (the chances of returning are so slim), and pick up another forward off waiver or something....ugh.....
Kenyon Martin....time to step up.

Re: Amare out six weeks with knee procedure
Time to retire. Some guys don't get to have a career; Amare is one of them. May as well accept it and stop giving teams false hope when injury is not likely but certain.

Get him a body bag!
Re: Amare out six weeks with knee procedure
Woody needs to play Cope and hopefully Knicks brass can cut Sheed and sign someone. Ridiculous our luck.

Amar'e Stoudemire will undergo surgery on his right knee and miss about six weeks.
Stoudemire has recently been dealing with soreness in his knees

pretty unlikely tbh, they should roll on with what they have and hope Cope gives them enough instead of trying to incorporate another player, on top of Kenyon, to the team/rotation.

I actually thought this was a troll attempt. Guy also had knee surgery just before the season began AND was out 6-8 weeks. Crazy. What a blow for the Knicks.

Since the trade deadline is over, you'll start to see guys get waived on non playoff teams. Hopefully someone springs free Knicks can use.
How bout Jorts? Isn't he a free agent?

he's playing in Puerto Rico right now, not sure if he would be able to come back unless his contract is rescinded/league finishes
Amundson is on a 10-day with the Bulls, might get a second one, but it's only if Taj stays out. If he comes back before the second one is done, Amundson will probably be let go.
