It's honestly subpar for a player of Kobe's caliber. Many times his Finals averages would fall below his regular season & playoff numbers.

Depends on the usage but those are are some really subpar numbers for anyone with a high usage rate.
    Horrific shooting percentage as well.

Sorry I don't speak team accomplishments.

As far as Kobe goes, he's a horrific finals performer.
    A career 41% finals a shooter, a 25% game 7 finals scorer and a 39% elimination game player.

Lol, cue the defensive crying Kobe stan. I didn't say he ALWAYS underperformed in the Finals, but it happened more often than not, as shown by the clear decline in his Finals averages from 2000-10 compared to his regular season & postseason numbers. And those numbers weren't off, the playoff numbers I posted didn't include the Finals, only the first 3 rounds of the playoffs.

there's only one person here who's insecure and that's you. Your numbers don't even help Kobe's case that much. 51 TS% while playing with Shaq just isn't that good even if the production is good. Finals were great ofc so I guess that helps your case. 09 and 10 are great playoff runs but there was an obvious dropoff in the Finals. Also curious which numbers he listed were off, be nice of you to point them out.

You spend more time posting about Kobe than you do about your Wade County f*ggot mancrush. Think about how sad your life is. Good to know that a retired player is still living rentfree in your head and has ruined you psychologically.

There's no obvious dropoff. You're literally bickering about a couple of % points. Kobe has completely mind****ed you. I know you punched your TV screen and got grounded for yelling at your mom the night he scored 60 in his farewell.

haha I was pretty damn excited and happy when Kobe scored 60 so nice assumption there. Fine not a dropoff in 09, 10 was there however. Jeez what a terrible deflection . When people say "some of the dumbest basketball fans ik are Kobetards" they're talking about people like you.

examine those years you just listed ... thats two larry brown GOAT level defenses and a tom thibadeu defense anchored by KG. Shouldnt be hard to see why the numbers decreased. Lebron had the worst statistical series of his career against 08 boston and that team wasnt as good defensively as the larry brown squads.

Now.. imagine if Kobe got to face the spurs over and over in the Finals, whom he routinely destroyed, or the mavericks who he hung 63 through 3 quarters on when they were a peak contender, or OKC, who he was dropping 40 pt playoff games on despite being a shell of himself. We would be having a totally different discussion.

lol...the 2001 sixers weren't a GOAT level defensive team. They were very good, but that's just reaching to boost kobe.

What happened in '09 when he shot 43% or in '10, when he shot 40%. Lets also not forget that he shot 37% in '00 and 41% in '01.
