Exclamation Prime Kobe SWEPT by 2011 Mavs

HOW?

WHY?

7 years later, these questions still yet to be answered or confronted by Kobe fans

Lakers had the most stacked front court in the NBA (Bynum/Pau), the best 6 man who pre-coke was basically a less athletic LeBron (Odom), and a litany of seasoned championship caliber role players (Artest, Fisher, Barnes)

How is it that Kobe managed to get swept in the 2nd rnd with objectively the most stacked team in the league primed for a 3-peat?

Could it be that Kobe was scared to play LeBron? (remember, LeBron historically SHIT on Kobe head to head)

West squads were licking their chops to face a Kobe team in the 1st-2nd round, pretty much his entire career Post MDE (shaq) era. And rightfully so

Even as heavy Lakers favorites, he accumulated a surplus amount of backdoor/frontdoor sweeps to his o-ring

I still remember that series clearly, that was one of the most unexpected losses ever, I was expecting an easy series for LA, but in reality it turned into a massacre the other way around.

I was high on the Lakers that year, mainly because we had our main core going for a 3-peat and we finally had a healthy Bynum in the postseason, something we didn't have in previous years.

Dirk played possessed the entire season. You don't have many ONE HIT WONDERS in the NBA like that, with a team's core that didn't change much but somehow they took it all the way

Only 17 points in a elimination game for a guy thats considered the biggest chucker in NBA history
biggest quitjob by an all time great tied with when he quit in 06.
Even LeBron who supposedly "quit" in 2010 went out swinging more than QuitBe putting up 27/19/10 with 3 steals.
