Very true.
But it's a lot easier to make this kind of video for someone averaging 3.2 steals and 1.6 blocks in the same season, rather than someone averaging literally half that (kobe, harden, bron, durant, you name it)
MJ is among the greatest wing defenders of all time, along with Detroit's Rodman, Moncrief, Pippen, and Payton..
Otoh, Kobe, Harden, Lebron, Durant simply aren't in this group of the greatest defenders of all time.. They weren't defensive specialists like Rodman, MJ, Pippen, Moncrief or Payton, and accordingly, aren't recognized as being on their level defensively.

Saw this earlier, but didn't have a chance to comment. Beautiful stuff
Wish there were videos high-lighting his use of pivot, off-hand, and degree-of-difficulty in shots that people seem to think only Kobe could ever pull off.

After watching that video then a video of Jordan shutting down Reggie in the 4th of their game 7. I'm amazed most people think Lebron is the best athletic specimen in NBA history. He gassed out in the 4thQs and OTs of this years finals and he is only 30 years old while playing mostly offense and little defense. Jordan on the other hand was 35 years old, shoulders the most load in offense while playing terrific defense then had to chase down Reggie in crunch time to seal the series. Truly the one and only GOAT.

Arguably the best (non-big)help defender ever
