PG will only have one year left on his deal next offseason. The Pacers won't be serious title contenders for the next 2 seasons. The Sixers would become major players in the 2017 NBA free agent class. They could sign Westbrook and Griffin. Their pitch would be easy. Just have a simultaneous meeting with Westbrook & Griffin and tell them that they have a deal for PG on the table if they sign.

Not a dream scenario when you look at the circumstances. Simmons will probably win ROY this coming season. The Pacers will advance no further than the 2nd round of the playoffs. Simmons & Okafor would be a major haul for PG. Also selling Westbrook and Griffin to play with PG in the East won't be too difficult especially if Noel, Saric, and even Embiid(Dream Scenario he stays healthy) play well next season.

This trade is for next offseason 2017 not now. Next year PG will have 1 year left on his deal. The Sixers could just pitch Westbrook and Griffin on the idea of playing with each other and PG in the East. If Westbrook and Griffin agree to sign then do the trade(only after they agree to sign).
