Everyone took their turns - Duncan, KG, Pierce, Dwight, Dirk....... then the young pups from the new era - KD, Kawhi, Curry etc..... Sadly Kobe couldn't. I don't think the media would even contemplate graduating from Kobe to MJ in the B.S discussions if that was settled then and there. A lot of MJ fans who were threatened by Kobe allied themselves with the marketing machine to throw shade. Little did they know, they would just move on to the next - Jordan. Simple divide and conquer. The dumb ones that is.... not all did.
