Why does this topic exist?

Who would complain about a chance to see Portland in a matchup where their youth and physical talent can be maximized?

The first half was an entertaining glimpse into Portland's future, and I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with watching Brandon Roy. Top five favorite player for me.

Would've been sweet if the suits at the TV stations just said "**** it" before the game and changed the televised game to be another more exciting game with teams people care about. Ultimate pwnage the replaced teams and their fans.

Because the Heat is crap. Who wants to watch Shaq miss freethrows after freethrows and Wade try to jump into the defender every time down the floor?

I'm not even too excited about Portland either. Aldridge and Roy will probably end up being top 20-10 in the league at best, hardly worth getting excited about, and they don't play Rodriguez enough or they put him on a short leash.

So nobody outside the top 10 players in the league is worth putting on national television?

Chances are that 8 of the top ten will end up being on vacation when the Finals roll around.

I actually enjoy watching Portland. I think they have a good young team. Brandon Roy and Lamarcus Aldridge are two of my favorite players in the league. I love watching them play. I really wish Oden didn't go down. I would love to see what they look like with him in the lineup.

Miami I could do without. I guess I am a little burnt out with them, but if it means I can watch a new team play that doesn't get the national attention Miami gets, then I don't care who the Heat are playing, I wanna watch.

What I was saying before was this: Miami is a good team to match Portland with if you want to see Portland playing well and catch a glimpse of what they're capable of. Miami's age and lack of athleticism is exposed by Portland's youth and talent.

Yes, I want to see top 10 players, or players that have potential to be top 10. I want to watch players that will be the next Jordan/Kobe/Olajuwon, not the next Ray Allen/Tayshaun Prince/Hinrich/other second tier stars.

Of course, teams will have at most two top 10 stars anyways. In any case, the teams in the Finals are actually good enough to worth watching
