    KG/Dirk have a case for third best player. Kobe isn't the clear cut choice for third best player. Then Wade/Lebron came along.

    MVP Is a popularity contest. Kobe deserves atleast 4 MVPs if the voters actually gave the award to the best player and not just the most marketable story.

    I still believe Jordan > Kobe, though. Kobe's career isn't done yet, though. So my opinion may change eventually.
