LeBron hasn't scored 30+ points in 8 straight playoff games (his longest drought)
That's the longest drought for him ever.
In 2011 he went 7 games without 30+ in the playoffs, scoring 28, 24, 20, 17, 8, 17, and 21.
This year his numbers are 22, 27, 20, 22, 25, 27, 24, and 21.
But the Cavs have looked great so far, so maybe there's no reason to worry.
(For those of you wondering, MJs longest streak was 4 games).

Yeah. I mean it's obviously cruise control for him right now, as it should be. LeBeast and the Cavs' main objectives right now should be getting ahead in series, remaining healthy, and conserving as much energy as realistically possible. And taking advantage of this extra rest.
I don't think he'll need to put up more than maybe one 30-point effort until the Finals.

Good college starter
Re: LeBron hasn't scored 30+ points in 8 straight playoff games (his longest drought)
Its because he has great players around him who can pick up the slack. Plus his ppg was pretty large last finals so this just goes to show. Stats dont mean shit.

Because they're playing dleague squads and his team is stacked as fu*k. Also he's not the number 1 option on offense because he can't shoot for shit

hes unselfish and trying to build up his teammates confidence. He only scores in the clutch and 4th quarters.

He's not on cruise control. It's how the team is assembled. If he needs to drop 30+ points on a team with that talent then something is wrong.

Very good NBA starter

Game 2 was a big blowout.
Lebron had 27 points before sitting early in the 4th quarter.

He doesn't have to dominate. There's no team or player in his conference that can even come close to giving him a challenge.
There's no Big 3 Celtics or Dwight Howard and Orlando that can compete with him and force him to play his best.
He can just chill and give his teammates confidence without a care in the world until the finals.

Basically. And while exciting for actual Cavs fans it's beginning to be ridiculous to watch for general fans. That east is just doo doo. I mean their ECF matchup may be a run down Miami or a broken ass soft Toronto team? That's a tragedy dude

The Raps won one more game than the Thunder this year, who might feature in the WCF as well?

Re: LeBron hasn't scored 30+ points in 8 straight playoff games (his longest drought)
That doesnt phase him/his gamestyle, he isnt a pure scorer/strict scorer/shoot-first guy despite being great/capable of it and thats not the only thing he is great at, he wasnt that since 2003 so i dont understand when people will learn... he is a two way or actually a three way player (scoring, defense & playmaking), a drafted point-guard with more of a pass-first mindset, more similar offensive mindset to Magic Johnson or even Larry Bird rather than chuckers like Jordan or especially Kobe... and he just isnt one dimensional enough (great at only one thing) to be limited to one main task, in this case scoring, if he was then he would hoist more shots & have more 8 straight 30+ pt playoff games... which would or more likely would not compensate for everything else he does right now....
