However, seeing Skip Bayless uncomfortable and seemingly stunned/confused shows that if somebody shows a similar level of disrespect he hands out on a regular basis, he'll freeze up. From watching the show 1st take with SAS, it seems the director tells both to pick one side of the story and play devil's advocate to each other

since SAS seems somewhat more "alpha" than Skip and gets to defend the point he can defend, Skip is stuck having to defend a side he is not entirely comfortable or ready to defend.
