Scottie Pippen defense vs the Jazz 2000 gm 5 wcsf
3ball will have you believe Pippen's defense didn't mean anything 2 and 3 years earlier when he was even better on the Bulls in 97 and 98, doe. 3ball also gets owned when Scottie makes and takes the huge clutch 3 to win the game...but,but... he was worthless in the clutch! He closed the Jazz out with 23pts 9rebs 8ast 3stl 1blk

That's the main reason why I'm confused if he even actually watched Jordan or not. He never actually makes any post that makes you think he watched him. It always just revolves around numbers like all he does is spend hims time 24/7 on basketball reference. You'd think someone who has Jordan's member choking off his air would at least be able to talk about him from an eye point of view...but you get none of that from this joke.

21 y.o Kobe outplayed your boy Pippen
Shaq gets all the clout for that play but it was 100% all Kobe just absolutely breaking down the greatest perimeter defender this game has ever seen and then of course the unselfish playmake. There's a reason Kobe's the 2nd highest non-PG assist getter in history and leading playmaker for 5 championship teams.

Kobe went at Pippen 3 plays in a row and it resulted in 2 points every time. From a tie game to up 6 in just 1 minute.
Kobe absolutely dominated him in the last 2 games of the series.

Old Pip held Kobe to 40% 17 ppg in the first five. That shit ends quicker if he didn't lay an egg.

First 2 games were blowouts where Kobe had 13 and 12 points on barely any shots, then you look at Game 3 and Kobe goes 25/7/7/2 on 61%FG with a game-saving block on Sabonis at the end to take a 2 - 1 lead, Game 4 is another blowout win for the Lakers and Kobe has 18 points, 7 assists with 2 steals and 3 blocks.
You can blame him for the Game 5 loss all you want but how many players at age 21 (other than Magic) have played that consistently in a big Playoff stage like Kobe did throughout that series, especially on the defensive end.
I don't see you saying anything about Shaq going 7/17 with 3/10 from the FT line in a Game 6 loss where Kobe has 33 points, 6 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks on 12/24 shooting with 6/9 from three.
And Kobe was far from terrible but you obviously love leaving out stats every time
he averaged 20.4/4.9/5.9/1.6/2.1 with a 55.2%TS in the WCF, led the team in assists, steals and blocks and shot a higher TS% than Shaq. Kobe shot 52% from three in that series.

Pip did in fact held Kobe in check most of the series.
Destroyed though.
