Default How come guards can't be touched but big man get abused?

It's pretty unfair. The post is still a battle ground. You can hand check, hold, bang and push. Meanwhile you can't breathe on perimeter players. It kind of makes stats irrelevant as far as comparing players stats. If bigs like embiid faced the kind of pathetic defences that curry and harden faced they'd score 6-10 more points a game.

because great offensive bigs use their bodies to ram you out the way, while most guards use quickness and trickery to occupy empty space and slip by. give and you shall recieve.

The league wants to push the pssy 3 ball spam for higher scores and wants nothing to do with the post game

its actually a joke if u watch defenders in the post these days. They get away with murder specially compared to shooters and many drivers

If embiid got to play unhandchecked like the slim peeper/ others, he would literally out score whole teams by himself....

Was always funny to me seeing people complain about Shaq dislodging people as if he wasnt fouled harder and more consistently than anyone in the NBA. Shaq took flagrant fouls as regular fouls and didnt flinch so he didnt get the call. I remember Kerr once admitting he hit him as hard as he could across the forearms as he went up trying to keep him from dunking and getting the foul...and he just completed the dunk like he didnt notice.

Being big doesnt mean the rules shouldnt apply.

out of all perimeter player Bron is historically the most bodied up ever - due to his immense strength and athleticism ticky tacky fouls are not even called against him majority of the time, because refs think he doesn't feel all the bumps and checks apparently lol...Harden on the other hand
