The west won 12 championships since 1999 compared to 5 for the east. But yes you are right, the west is totally overrated.

OMG its so grueling to play in the east, its extremely difficult to get wins because every game is a bloodbath. any team in the west is lucky to have it so easy.
^thats how western conference fan boys sounded last season. how ridiculous.

So far, the East is winning the matchups against the West too. I think it was like 14-12 East yesterday, now it's 17-14 i believe (assuming Kings win)

Unbelievable! The league really needs to do away with this outdated playoff format and just do top 16. It's so unfair that the East champ will literally have to go to war just to get to the Finals, while in the West beta male Curry gets ANOTHER free ride.
