Fellas, please with the name calling. Can't we all get together and sing kumbaya while we listen to the director of the damn thing admit what sensible people not blinded by hype can clearly see?

[INDENT]What!? Joss Whedon Disses 'The Avengers'

It's one of the biggest commercial successes of all time and garnered extremely positive reviews, but "Marvel's The Avengers" has at least one rather notable critic: its own writer-director.

For millions of fans, "Marvel's The Avengers" was the movie of 2012 as it brought to life countless childhood fantasies of some of the world's greatest superheroes coming together to, well, fight the bad guys and save the day. But Joss Whedon, the writer and director of the film

I agree wholeheartedly. I have been watching a lot more tv shows than movies ever since Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. Most movies just aren't that entertaining for me anymore. I've become sick of the superhero and zombie genres. The experience is a lot better at the theater though, especially for this type of movie.

The director nailed down one of the many issues of why the movie wasnt good for me.

    You are a TOTAL idiot

No one cares what you thought of it, truth is it was a super duper hit that broke all kinds of box office records and went down as the greatest superhero movie in box office history. In my opinion, the greatest movie ever made as well.

As if the box office records are some kind of a measurement if a movie is good or not.

Banner, Thor, Iron Man and Captain America were the coolest avengers in that order.

Hawkeye and Black Widow were lame as hell. Bow and arrow guy and gun chick. Who gives a phuck.
