Default I guess the new age NBA is being forced down our throats

    (homo)

I didn't want to accept it, but it's here, whether I like it or not.

    A league where:
    -team loyalty means nothing
    -perimeter players > post players
    -individual talent trumps team basketball
    -everything is a foul
    -being friends > having rivalries
-toughness and grit don't exist anymore

This is gonna be a fun decade:

the league made rule changes and rule enforcement changes that made sure the guards would be allowed to roam free while PF and centers can be beat half to death without a call. So ya, its a new day in the NBA like it or not.

Yep what a fitting way to start the lockout. NBA RIP 2011. The year that saw mentally weak pussies team up just like the NY Yankees of baseball. Death to loyalty, hard work, perseverance, having heart and competition. I'm done watching the NBA if the Heat win.

Dwight Howard being a prime example of that. He's the last of a dying breed and he's gonna get hacked and fouled with no calls from now until retirement. And then we can look to the Andrea Bustnani era of big men.

No it's not. I'd give D-Wade, Bosh, and Kevin Love up to have those 3 guys back in their prime.

Lol this happens all the godamn time.

When Jordan retired in '98 all the old-timers were lamenting about the NBA's image, with the thugs and the gangsters and all the tattoos and selfish, And-1 me first style of basketball.
