And how do you know Conan is a legit 6'4"? I mean if we question Kobe's listed height of 6'6", we could question anyone's listed height, in this case, Conan's 6'4" on that site or wherever they say so. I'm not doubting that Kobe is a legit 6'6", it's just that this is bad evidence.

Because CONAN IS NOT AN ATHLETE, and we don't have the whole ambiguity of, "oh, but was he measured with shoes or without," as you would with sports players.
