I was beginning to wonder if that link was a joke, like "highlights" meant ironically. But I like clips that include misses, for it sometimes helps provide a more complete picture. 18 points and 5 rebounds sounds alright until we see firsthand how things went down. Did he start 1-10 or 1-11? He at least appeared to warm up near the end. Acclimation is probably rough.

the starting guards and big men are almost all ex nba and or nba level players. michael beasley, metta world peace, dominique jones, yi jianlian, and so on all play in that league but the average chinese player in that league is flat out awful. most of those guys would be bench players on an average d1 team at best.

supposedly he started out poorly and got into the game as it went on. i think it'll start out rough but if he's not putting up big numbers by the end of the season, that's worrisome because the defense in that league is terrible and he'll have license to take as many shots as he wants.

he will go up against some good players though...pooh jeter,delonte west, bobby brown, quincy douby, lester hudson, josh akognon, justin dentmon, etc

why would teams want him when he failed in turkey? a volume scorer under 6 feet who's not longer explosive and can't hit 3s is not an nba player

he already showed on the grizzlies and pistons that he couldn't be effective off the bench
