I have Kobe ahead of Bird and if Bird is ranked so high than Kobe is easily cracks the top 4.
Kobe is Tier 1.
Don't just make statements like that.
Tell us reasons why...

The funny thing is if it weren't for Shaq, the argument for Kobe over Shaq would be even weaker.

Shaq had the luxury of playing with the best shooting guard ever, second or equal to Jordan.
How many players get to do that?

Kobe had the luxury of playing with possibly the most physically dominant player in history. And Kobe over Bird and Shaq, Magic over Wilt, Duncan over Shaq? Either championships are taken too much into account or just people are just idiotic.

Russel says hi.
Kobe played with one of the many great centers in histroy. Shaq played with the best SG in history, equal or second to MJ.

Just because he had the SECOND best sg ever, doesn't mean that was the only way he could've won. Prime Shaq was easily the easiest player to build around during that time, and one of the easiest of all-time. Shaq would've won titles eventually no matter what. Switch Kobe with T-Mac, Vince, AI, Pierce, Ray, and maybe some others, and they still win 2-3.
