As much as I agree with you, that all logic points to D'Antoni not being here in a few months.....NEVER underestimate Dolan's ability to be a contratrian, and go in the opposite direction of what Knicks fans/media/analysts want. He did that with Isiah Thomas for years........I think MDA's gone too, but there's a part of me that wouldn't be surprised if Dolan gives him a 2 year extension.

Well we all know who MDA is as a coach. He was the problem the moment they hired him. NYK is known for tough defense and his defnesive strategy is to outscore the other team. That never works.

As far as Melo, he's just too selfish a player and doesn't seem to care about or have a real desire to win. It shows. I mean the coach wasn't a problem during the Linsanity period. The common factor is Melo.

A source close to Novak says that Novak might "forget" how to shoot the three ball if Melo isn't moved.
