Default CP3 in the MVP race is laughable

First of all, I'm not sure he's the best player on the team. Second, they are winning cos they are stacked with talent. No one guy is carrying this team and they'd keep rolling if CP3, Blake or anyone else missed time. They have no post game but that's about the only weakness...

    Clippers advanced stats through 12/18

lol I'd have to agree. Only few ppl in league have a chance at MVP and he is not one of them.

True and yet this is what Chris Paul wanted, some quality players around him who can get hot on their own even if he's not on the floor.

Lebron won it with a stacked team, so why can't Paul?
As long as the Clips are at the top of the West CP3 is a legit MVP candidate, there's no disputing that.

    He's more deserving than Kobe.

without chris paul, the Clippers wouldn't have gotten to this point in the first place

Bron's team was stacked but he was still carrying them. CP3 winning this year would be even worse than Nash IMO

Because LeBron posted ridiculous stats, is easily the best player on the planet, and they were like 11-1 without Wade. Chris Paul is doing nothing special in the box score and stats matter a lot when deciding the MVP

Mvp usually goes to best player on a team with one of leagues best record, sounds about right to me, kobe being in talks is ridiculous with sub .500 record, the year kobe got mvp cp was clearly better

Without Lebron you still have a previous Finals MVP and superstar power forward. Without CP3 who makes this Clippers squad get rolling? Jamal Crawford? Blake?

MVP aren't decided by value, regardless of what the V stands for. You could say the same about almost every star in the league. Dumb post.
