Let me put it this way...Kobe's perseverance is more impressive than his longevity.

The myth that MJ 'carried' his teams is where you fail with your hate

When MJ retired in '94 those Bulls he supposedly 'carried' they barely missed a beat with a CBA journeyman Pete 'frigging' Myers. Actually would have improved their w/l total from the previous season considering Pippen missed 10 games in which they went(3-7).

Those Bulls teammates he supposedly 'carried' not only near improve without him in the w/l column ,but they also were collectively more efficient(shot better fg% without MJ)

Had the Bulls gone after a legitimate NBA SG(like Derek Harper who was available & ended up improving the Knicks that beat the Bulls in 7) & not the CBA journeyman Pete 'friggin' Myers they are back in the NBA Finals.

Pete 'friggin' Myers could have held down the regular season for MJ

Please stop with MJ 'carried' the Bulls nonsense/myth.

Just imagine Smush Parker replacing Kobe & leaving a Parker/D Fish backcourt. It would get ugly.
