Kobe hit 50 in the 3rd quarter of the 81 game.. if you just pick out a guys best stretch I'm sure others would have different results here.

Never the less, its a completely meaningless topic anyway.

    3rd Q + 4th Q = 2 quarters

    go back to school

whether its 1st half or 2nd half its 2 quarters dumb sh*t. how the f*ck is it any less impressive..

if anything teams try harder in the 2nd half

'if he continues to do this, what's going to happen'

great sequential play maker, and one of the most leveraged scoring option.

To be fair, the only times his playoff runs last more than 1 round (if that) are when he's sharing the load with a dominant frontcourt workhorse. When he's the man, he doesn't usually play more than 6 or 7 playoff games a year.

Dirk has only shot over 30 times in 7 games of his career...and only 2 of those were without an OT. Kobe has 108 30 shot attempt games. Dirks career high of 34....came in an OT game. Kobe had a 34 shot game last season....in 31 minutes. Why wouldnt he have a lot more huge scoring games and higher peaks?

Jermaine Oneal only took 30 shots twice in over 1000 games. That 55 point game listed was on 28 shots(and of course many FTs). Tony Parker only has 3 30 shot games in his career including that 55/10 game. Kobe has taken 30 shots in a half(with an OT to be fair).

Kobe has clearly been setting out to score huge totals more than these people. Its clearly impressive to pull off....but you cant really compare some of these dudes to Kobe approach wise.

Be like comparing Kobes huge assist total games to legendary playmakers.

Even the scorers in here were rarely in position to go at it like Kobe.

and the amazing thing is kobe really only had 3 years to do all his damage

and 2 of those 3 years he made the playoffs with kwame/smush.. which is impressive

kobe had to dial it back when he was contending. so at best we could look forward to 30-40 point games. which he is 2nd all time and 4th all time in

plus.. serious man are you gonna say if dirk tried more often to score 55+ in 2 quarters he would have done it?

what are you arguing exactly lol

so jordans 30ppg career average doesnt count because he tried to score 30 more often?

and kareems 38k doesnt count because he had more games to score points in

    wtf lol

youve never been good at this kblaze..
