Default the John Stockton All-Skills team

    C - Hakeem Olajuwon

    F - Kevin Garnett

    F - Larry Bird

    G - Kobe Bryant

    G - John Stockton

all these guys could dominate even if they switched bodies with mugsey bougues

    CP3 is the starting point.

    AI as SG

How is KG the most skilled 4? Dirk or Duncan IMO. KG was a great and very skilled player, but his greatest strength was length and athleticism. I'd say even Kevin Love has better skill than KG.

    lmao

paul is not more skilled than stockton

and as for iverson. you do realize defense is an aspect of basketball right?

plus kobe had post moves. iverson didnt

and duncan is very skilled for a PF... but his game would fail in a smaller body. limited range, average handles.. not a freelancing player like KG was.

dirk doesnt match up to kg's defense

    and LOL@love

You said "they'd dominate even if they switched bodies with mugsy bouges"

    AI would, Kobe would not.

AI would, Kobe would not. How do you know AI didn't have post moves? When would teams want to post up their 5'11 170 lb guard? But in this hypothetical, we are getting rid of differences in size.

Obviously defense is part of skill, but part of defense is athleticism and length....which is where KG had his advantage. Take that away and is he a better defender than Duncan? Or Dirk? If they all had the same body, who would be the best player? I'll take the guys that can shoot 3's.

Love is extremely skilled. He's like 6'8" with average athleticism and averaged 26ppg for a top-10 offense, all while being the best passer at his position and being near the league lead in post efficiency. Give him the same body as Garnett and he's CLEARLY the better player.

    Small ball, three guard lineup:

    Nash
    Stockton
    Paul
    Lebron
    Pippen

    are you f*cking retarded lol

kobes been a first team all nba player even well past his prime and after a ton of surgeries, relying on long range shooting for half his career, footwork, pump fakes etc... no real speed. just timing

kobe hasnt had that peak athleticism since 2003 when he got injured in the playoffs. that knee surgery took half his hops away. hasnt done a windmill since

then he coasted on good athleticism from 2004 till 2008

    then average athleticism for 2009-2010

    then shit athleticism for 2011-2012

he had an ok year athletically in 2013 before the achilles injury

then last year with absolutely no speed, no hops, no athleticism he lead the league in scoring on iversonesq crap percentages

iverson relied heavily on his all time quickness and legendary speed to blow by people.

once he wasnt faster than everyone else he bottomed out of the nba after only his 13th season. by then he was washed up

kobe has way more fundamentals and polished skills than iverson.

Real talk... if you give Spud Webb Vince Carters body, his waist would be at 10ft rim level on every dunk.

I think SF is the only obvious one............

    CP3 or Stockton
    MJ or Kobe
    Bird
    KG, Dirk or Timmy
    Hakeem or Walton

i think gravity, body mass, bone density, muscle twitch/elasticity has allot to do with the reason small guys have nearly twice the verticality that someone 6-8 has

Would all that footwork and post game skills work if Kobe was under 6' tall? Nope!

And AI was blackballed....do your homework bro.
    AI as a midget>Kobe as a midget
Obviously real life Kobe was the better player, but we aren't talking about that.

How many guys do you know of that could jump like spud webb at that height? Nate robinson is the closest we've seen. You give those guys a body like VC and it's over. You are combining the mentality of dunking while being that small and putting it into one of the greatest dunking bodies of all time. There's really no telling. Half of dunking is mental. Trust me, I've dunked on people and it isn't just "hops".

Mj is on the all athlete team.. lets be honest. he dominated 70% of his career just by being stronger/faster/quicker and jumping twice as high as anyone who was guarding him or matched up with him

jordan had a ton of skills. but not quite as many as kobe.

    Wilt Chamberlain All-Athlete team

    C - Wilt

    F - Blake

    F - Lebron

    G - Vince

    G - Jordan

PG: CP3, Nash, even a few others

    SG: Pistol Pete, most likely

    SF: Bird

    PF: probably KG

C: Hakeem or Walton... wild card would be Jack Sikma, he could shoot (even 3's), had some post-game, could hit FT's at 85+%, could pass, rebound and defend, was not close to a great athlete but was tall and big...
