Re: Rondo to Mavs?
Great trade IMO. They can afford a non-shooter with Dirk on the floor, and improve their defense. Would also take the ball out of Monta's hands more often since Rondo is so ball-dominant.
I think if this goes down, they're the second best roster on paper after SA. Definitely think it would get them to the WCF.

Re: Rondo to Mavs?
In Wright's defense, the last couple seasons were his only somewhat healthy seasons of his entire career. In a way, blossoming isn't an inaccurate adjective as you can finally see what he is capable of when not hampered by injuries. Not the diction I would use tho.
Who else is after Rondo?

Maybe the Clippers? idk

Re: Rondo to Mavs?
Looking at it from a boston perspective, the Bucks could offer a nice package with sanders and knight involved.
Also, Detroit could trade smith and jennings, and this years first rounder for him. Passing those 2 chuckers to a conference foe.
The lakers could offer Randle, Hill and Young.
Houston could offer Beverly, Montejuinas?, and a 1st.

Mav's would be stacked as hell. Dish out to Parsons and Dirk, slashing Ellis, and lobs to Chandler.

Made that high school varsity squad
Re: Rondo to Mavs?
I think people are underestimating Wright's role in Dallas
He is putting up 9 pts / 4 rebounds on 75% FG in under 20 minutes
Where are they going to find that kind of production?
Also the only trade that really works is Nelson/Harris, Felton, Wright for Rondo
What is Dallas' 1st rounder going to be around 15-20th overall
So Boston gets a late 1st for Rajon Rondo? lmfao highway robbery by Cuban if it's the case

GS is if Bogut is healthy, and Iggy figures a role out (or else he's a waste). They should move Lee while he still has value IMO.
Portland, maybe. I think SA/Dallas (post trade) are both clearly better though.

Re: Rondo to Mavs?
wtf we can got rondo for more lol. but as a celtic homer, if trading rondo is inevitable then i would like to see him go to dallas, he is the perfect pg for a team with a lot of good shooters. damn the pick and pop with nowitizki

Damn, that's a perfect fit at PG for the Mavs.
I don't want to see that.

Good college starter
Re: Rondo to Mavs?
The Celtics already have enough jump shooting bigs who aren't suited for the center position. Don't see what Brandan Wright adds to the team.
