11th pick + Gibson wouldn't be a bad offer to move into say the top 7.

Rudy Gay might be available. Deng for Gay?

If we do this and amnesty Boozer would we have enough cap room to sign Love?

I know this is probably far fetched, but crazier things have happened and if you go through the progressions it could be possible.

Rose-Butler-Gay-Love-Noah would be a crazy lineup.

Gay would be a really good option to boost our scoring.
Love would give us excellent rebounding and would spread the floor with his outside shooting for our slashers.
Both of these players defense would improve in our system and playing alongside our guys.

Recent trade speculation has come up again, will it actually happen?
I wouldn't take it too seriously at the moment, but it's interesting to see that things are starting to heat up when it comes to Deng trade rumors. I say move him soon if you can. It don't see the benefit of the Bulls waiting to long.

At this point I truly think moving Deng would be the right deal for us. If he does stay than he needs to take a major pay cut to do so.

I'd give him 8-9 million per season. If he stays we'll need to upgrade the 4 position and get some more ballhandling and outside shooting for our bench to make it work.

Waiters - Snell
Deng- Dunleavy
Taj/Mirotic

Still a solid team with room for improvement.

We'll see. I just know its going to be a crazy rest of the season and offseason.

Waiters is the one we want.

Explosive scorer who can really be used well here in Chicago. Only thing is, trading for him now would mean that we might start winning a heap of games this year and kill our chances for a good draft pick.
