Deng would of been so great right now for us and I just feel like he deserves a fully healthy Bulls team after all the years he carried us on his back as far as he possibly could.

We kinda need him right now for these playoffs to take some load off of Jimmy Butler on both ends.

Deng ended up getting like $10 million, he was wanting like $15 I think.

I think the reason they let him go is because they wanted to pay Butler close to a max when the cap rises. Deng was also playing pretty shitty because of Thibs running him into the ground, he averaged the most minutes in the league his last year with Chicago.
