Going by your avy I'll assume you're a Heat/Wade fan.

Wade didn't become a spot up shooter at all. He actually took less long rang shots when Lebron joined.

The only Heat player that became a spot up shooter was Bosh. And that's of mixture of him not wanting to bang down low and the Heat system focusing on drive and kick. And even so, Bosh's range has made him more of a deadly scorer than ever. If anything he should thank Lebron.
