Well to me there is shitty officiating, highly influenced and then there is flat out rigged.

The 1985 Draft and 2002 Western Conference Finals were clearly rigged.

06 NBA Finals were highly influenced, but not completely rigged. At least I don't think so, but I have no problem with anyone that disagrees.

Bill Laimbeer's phantom foul at the end of Game 6 of the 88 Finals was just shitty officiating. Not only because it wasn't a foul, but because Kareem traveled first. Shitty officiating. It literally cost Detroit the Championship, but it wasn't rigged people.

People always think its black and white. They have a mindset where if the officiating isn't picture perfect, then it must be rigged. Or when a game is not rigged, then the officiating can never be wrong, even when the officials can still be clearly favoring a certain home team or play style.
