This is clearly Jordan, then Bird imo. Never mind the playoff game winners, where MJ is at like 50+% FG as compared to Kobe (25%) and Lebron (35-40%), check the playoff clutch stats for Jordan's prime compiled by ISH poster PHILA as compared to Kobe or Lebron's:

Per 48 Statistics, in 82games.com format for crunch time, defined as 4th quarter or overtime, less than 5 minutes left, neither team ahead by more than 5 points:

    Michael Jordan 1990-1992

    Kobe Bryant 2006-2009

    LeBron James 2009-2013

    *Not including 2011 Playoffs

^literally burst out laughing at that chart. The disparity between MJ and Kobe/LeBron is unreal

Lots of great names on this thread, and these two along with Bird seem to be getting the votes.

But the answer is Sam Jones.... by far

    Why?

I don't see why anyone in the world would have him above Kobe/Wade/Lebron/Allen/Barkley/Duncan/Dirk and ESPECIALLY MELO.

I want to you state your case because I think this is getting out of hand.

I'd say Miller is on the same level as Melo if were taking their clutch scenarios resulting to success.

Without looking it up, I believe Russell is on record as saying that EIGHT times the Celtics put the ball in Sam's hands in a do-or-die situation (where their post-season was on the line), and he delivered in ALL eight.

Russell, for all of his greatness, had Jones and Hondo consistently coming up big in his entire post-season career.

Good post. It just show how MJ is light years ahead of Kobe and Lebron. GOAT gonna GOAT.

"Big Game James" Worthy, who raised his regular season numbers in the playoffs, and then even moreso in his Finals.

And no mention of Magic? How about game six of the Finals in his rookie season, and with his best teammate watching the game from his couch?
