Here's a thought, make a thread that isnt related to Michael Jordan or Lebron's relationship to Michael Jordan.

I know it will be hard but you can do it. You have greatness in you. More of the Lebron James variety, than the Jordan variety, but you get the idea.

These aren't the same links - more were added to reach the 100 chest-to-chest poster milestone (more than 90% of which are in the halfcourt setting), something Lebron could never reach even if he had a 30 year career.

So the 100 chest-to-chest posters are for reference purposes - anytime a Lebron stans gets their recency bias engine revved up after seeing one of Lebron's 3 annual chest-to-chest posters that he gets in the halfcourt, there will be a place where 100 of Jordan's posters were recorded/collected so his goatness can't be forgotten regardless of how many open dunks Lebron gets.

Also, those 100 posters are from 1/3 of Jordan's games... just think if we had the same access to MJ footage that today's player enjoys....

I'm talking HD... multiple youtube channels making videos of every game.... did I mention HD?.. That makes a big difference.

The explosiveness on that is unreal. It's similar to the famous dunk on Ewing in that he had only a small window between his initial defender(s) and the basket, and just plain yokes it on the man waiting in the middle despite no running start. Literally no running start, with a man waiting for him under the basket to challenge the dunk attempt. What other perimeter player/guard in History can do that?

Apparently, youtube uploader Wistiwist actually has A SECOND Jordan website with footage from about 100 more games.... It looks like there will be at least another 35 chest-to-chest posters in this new reservoir of goatness.

I will do a couple new posters per day and in a few weeks, I will have added them all to this collection.

The more I collect these highlights the more I realize just how different the brand of basketball was in previous eras...

Back then there was no spacing - guys today simply get a much higher proportion of open shots - how ANYONE can be aware of this and still think Jordan somehow had it easier continues to amaze me.. The NBA has conceded many times how they changed the rules to "open up the game" and any eyetest confirms that open shots are the new expectation in today's game.

But people will simply turn a blind eye to sheer logic staring them in the face.

This type of collection cannot be accumulated for any other guard or wing - only Jordan had the requisite combination of athleticism and skill to amass this many chest-to-chest posters.
