Who'd have thought an innocent thread would cause such a fire up of BronFam enemies, that's crazy.

OP got em on a string, all he asked was how the landscape of the NBA would have changed IF Pippen doesn't save the day in Game 3 that would have put em down 0-3 and possible not three-peat. Still yet to get an answer related to the thread OP but I still have hope

Impossible to lose this one brother, just really puts out MJ stans insecurity that rather than have a discussion about MJ's average games, and the domino effect losing this particular one would have on the league, they deflect to a guy who entered the league more than a decade after said season mentioned in the OP

its odd to insenuate that a team 3peated yet werent in sync. But journey men prepared to sacrifice for the deep playoff run also were the norm.

Judging by the whole of his career, it's most likely MJ would have had a better game if the Bulls had needed it. Especially to avoid 0-3. There were plenty of times MJ shot dismally but came through in the right spots to secure a victory. I know LBJ fans don't like context or truth (which is more complicated than narrative) but this sort of thing doesn't show up in the box score.
