Lightbulb "LeBron didn't have help this year... Wade and Bosh who?"

I knew we'd see these claims once LeBron eventually squeezed out a ring. In 2011, it was "they only lost because of Wade and Bosh; not LeBron." In 2012, it's "they only won because of LeBron; not Wade and Bosh."

Let's take a look at the finals against the Thunder, shall we?

    Game 1

    Wade: 19 points, 4 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal
    Battier: 17 points, 4 rebounds
    Chalmers: 12 points, 2 rebounds, 6 assists
    Haslem: 11 rebounds
    Bosh: 10 points, 5 rebounds
LeBron: 4 turnovers (most of any Heat player that game)

    Game 2

    Wade: 24 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists
    Bosh: 16 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks
    Battier: 17 points
    Chalmers: 3 steals

    Game 3

    Wade: 25 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals
    Bosh: 10 points, 11 rebounds, 2 blocks
    Chalmers: 2/3/3/2/1
LeBron: 4 turnovers (2nd most of any Heat player that game)

    Game 4

    Wade: 25 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks
    Chalmers: 25 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals
    Bosh: 13 points, 9 rebounds, 1 steal
LeBron: 3 turnovers (most of any Heat player that game)

    Game 5

    Bosh: 24 points, 7 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks
    Wade: 20 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks
    Miller: 23 points, 5 rebounds, 1 steal
    Chalmers: 10 points, 2 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals
    Battier: 11 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal
LeBron: 6 turnovers (most of any Heat player that game)

No help, right? LeBron did it on his lonesome? Wade averaging 22.6 PPG / 6 RPG / 5.2 APG, Bosh having 2 double-doubles (almost 3), one of which was 16/15, Chalmers having a 25/2/3/2 game, Miller having a 23-point game, Battier having two 17-point games... all had little influence on he outcomes of those games. Huh?

Lebron had a lot of help from his role players/bench players in the Finals but in the first three series getting to the finals, he was somewhat by himself.

I don't recall many other players showing up in the ECF for the Heat except Bosh in Game 7 for that Celtics series. I think Battier may have knocked down some key shots as well in the ECF but nobody else really. Wade was invisible because the Celtics decided to focus their defense on him. I don't recall shooters doing too well either and they certainly did not play good defense.

Pacers series, he had Wade but that was it. Wade and Lebron took out the Pacers themselves.

Knicks, it doesn't matter whether LeBron played good or not, it's almost impossible to lose to them.

why would you post Lebron's turnovers (where are his all-around numbers?) and not do the same for his supporting cast? You would think he was a turnover machine and nothing more. Nice spin.

It's hyperbole, but posters like pauk, you, Lebron23, kuniva have been minimizing the influence of LeBron's teammates to an extreme level.

This thread is just one example.

Obviously, the Heat without those two is just as bad as the Cavs teams he played with.

Wade offering up the Excuses as to his Play teetering off with the bad Knee says he was LUCKY to be 80%.. So if he is HEalthy next year along with Bosh and Lebron continues to Dominate dont see anyone knocking the Heat off.

Considering the fact that Dwyane Wade is something like a 25/5/6 career SG, I'd say that's pretty damn good production from Wade despite what everyone has been saying about him. He didn't disappear in any of the finals games.
