Stacked teams are when you can win 61 games while playing 28 minutes and going for 13/9/3...

Anyway, suck it hater, a truly all time season for a near 36 year old with 22/6/3 on 50/40/90 and leading a fundamentally flawed roster to near 50 wins in one of the best conferences we've seen in some time

I wonder why the expectations for Dirk led teams are so high if he apparently isn't that good?

That team built around the 35 year old's jump shooting is the 4th best offense in the league while playing the 16th fastest pace. I'd say that is pretty damn impressive.

No kidding we aren't elite defensively. We are pretty close to just awful defensively. LOL

Of course his record is worse in the playoffs. That is what happens when you play with players and coaches that get noticeably worse in the playoffs...while Dirk plays better actually.

How many guys actually improve their stats across the board in addition to scoring efficiency in the playoffs? I doubt there are many...

    Players averaging at least 21 or more per game at age 35 or older;

    Kareem
    Karl Malone
    MJ
    English
    Baylor
    Dirk

No shame in being the 6th best of that group.

    Much respect to Monta Ellis.

I had a feeling the Mavs would get the best out of him this year, and boy did we.

19/6/4 53% TS and he's played every single game...and he's played hard each and every night.

I think he's grown a lot as a player and could be a monster for us next year with a similar, but better year...especially if we improve the center position and fill out the roster a bit.

It's been huge for Dirk as well...Ellis has made life so much easier on him.

I've watched a couple mavs gms this season partly bcas ive got monta on my fantasy team, and while he wasnt too efficient, hes been passing the rock and getting guys good looks from driving and kicking.

I think he's really stepped up since his golden state days.
