Well, the white man didnt give them ebola and AIDS, but the medical lobby sure does a good job getting grant money to go there and treat it. When George Bush pledged 15 billion dollars to "Africa" to fight AIDS, that money isnt actually going to Africans, its going to US drug companies. Of course they arent seeking to cure anything, and frankly Africa would have a population crisis if you did cure all these diseases. We just pay money to pharm companies and doctors to treat people so they can live jusssst long enough to have more children born into hopeless poverty who will also need expensive medical treatment that drug lobbies petition the govt to pay for under the guise of white knighting for those poor souls in need over there.

Barring foreigners literally physically bringing influence in there, they have not developed. Compared to other countries, 20 year could mean huge jumps. In Africa, it's like time never passes. Still believe in voodoo, verbal medicine, eating human, wars etc.etc.

Why is it that they don't develop, or only EXTREMELY slowly? This is a very serious question of mine.
