Have you ever driven a ****in' moped before? sometimes when you gas it too hard, the front wheel lifts up and you're forced to hold on and pull the throttle back even further. It's called a whiskey throttle (as shown on Rob Dyrdek's Ridiculousness). I could almost guarantee that that's what happened. It happens to everyone at least once. Usually there's no injury though lol.
