Who's more stacked: Miami or LA?
Going into the 12/13 season, which team's roster would you say is more stacked?
Heat
Top 1 SF (LeBron, age 27)
Top 2 SG (Wade, age 30)
Top 5 PF (Bosh, age 28)
Top 10 SG (Allen, age 37)
Lakers
Top 1 SG (Kobe, age 33)
Top 2 C (Bynum, age 24)
Top 5 PF (Gasol, age 32)
Top 7 PG (Nash, age 38)
I say the Heat because they're more in their primes.

Trying to find the obvious in obvious.

Heat are younger with a better bench. I hate both teams. A Lakers/Heat match up in the finals would be beyond terrible.

What if LA does end up landing Dwight?
Heat
Top 1 SF (LeBron, age 27)
Top 2 SG (Wade, age 30)
Top 5 PF (Bosh, age 28)
Top 10 SG (Allen, age 37)
Lakers
Top 1 SG (Kobe, age 33)
Top 1 C (Dwight, age 26)
Top 5 PF (Gasol, age 32)
Top 7 PG (Nash, age 38)
Closer, no?

Stacked meaning depth from top to bottom? Obviously Miami, not even a question. Starting lineup only? Lakers have a small edge.

Re: Who's more stacked: Miami or LA?
Would be nice if you also add a "Seasons played" next to their names

Both rosters fall off a cliff after the top 3-4 or so.

Sadly, this.
Even with Jamison's signing and Hill rejoining the Lakers, the amount of depth the Heat have is ridiculous.
I hope there is some way, some how, the Lakers get someone like Brandon Rush.

Thing is that if Lakers lose one of their players they could still be very, very competetive. If they lose Gasol they'll still have the Nash+Dwight/Bynum connection while Kobe would be doing his thing. If Miami lose Bosh, Miami as we all saw are fecked.
Miami better, Lakers more top heavy with 2 quality players in back court and 2 in front court.

Miami has more star power but LA has better balance.

"Top 1" is a pretty stupid expression lol

Dunno Miami made the CF and were 2-2 vs Boston without bosh right? Not completely screwed. More so now with ray Allen there.
