Re: NBA Finals- Houston Rockets @ Miami Heat Game 1 Thread
No real Dwight hate here but how come it's fine for people to post threads like this in arrogance but if a Lakers fan did it, they're the worst fanbase EVER according to most posters for being so arrogant and entitled?
It's probably not a good idea to do this, OP. 2012-2013 Lakers were overhyped and ended up being a bust. 2013-2014 Nets were overhyped and are barely even attempting to get out of their hole. You probably just cursed your team.

It's a learning experience for him as well as the players. It's rare that a team builds enough chemistry to maximize its potential in just one season. You have a good young squad with enough upside to contend which is good, but a young coach (experience-wise) and a young squad means serious title contention might take some time. Harden has some finals exp which helps, but his role now is different, and I think this team needs one more piece preferably a veteran who can be an offensive threat off the bench.

So is Kevin Durant without Russell Westbrook even playing. So are a lot of teams in the West that are all contending. We're not even past the All Star game yet or trade deadline.
If this is a hypothetical thread then great but if this is meant to be serious...then at least wait until things play out more. How can we even so sure that Miami are going to be able to make it to the Finals too?

Fans will always have their differences but invariably you wind up having a good bball discussion with a lot of them at one point or another, one reason why I’ve been around for so long.

I think this is about as telling as it gets. The Rockets are a pain to watch on a nightly basis, never been so frustrated, but what can ya say? Look at the teams around them (save for Portland)
I think they can beat anybody in a 7 game series. I think they could beat OKC if they get hot.
I also think they could be swept by anyone. That's how inconsistent they have been.
