Default Pop going to the full bench in 1st quarter

i thought that was genius. his team was gonna get blown out in the middle of the 1st quarter and then Pop calls time and brings in 5 bench players. they didnt turn the tide immediately but it befuddled Hollins with his rotations enough to get the Spurs back into the game.

NO ONE else can coach like that because no one else has the balls to do that.

When you have a few rings you can do what you like. No one will question you.

If VDN do that, he will killed by the media.

I think it was more impressive that the starters responded to the benching very well.

Not the first time he's done it, and for the sake of tough, no-nonsense, coaching I hope it's not the last.

He's always been a no-nonsense coach that holds his players accountable for their bonehead play. A few coaches could learn from that.

He's the only coach that would do that, and that's why he's the best coach.

Where did this fallacy come from that the spurs are boring to watch, they are the most exciting team to watch TBH.

He's done this before. Hasn't done it in a long time but he was going it even before the second title.

When the starters were playing like crap (not necessarily being blown out) he'd sub them all out.
