Ilyasova and a heavily protected future first, which is basically trash:

The future first round pick that OKC sends to Philly is protected 1-20 and will turn into two second round picks if not conveyed.

Puts OKC at about 7.5 under the salary cap. Wonder if a follow up is coming to a team wanting to save money.


Don't really get this for either team. Grant isn't that good, and I'd rather have Ilyasova for matching purposes, and does Philly really want more seconds?

With Kanter coming in with Adams to play PF/C and Sabonis starting over Ilyasova this makes sense. Hopefully Grant will be a noticeable upgrade over Singler and Roberson can go back to SG.

God damn Ilyasova scamming the Bucks for that contract and then playing like garbage ever since. I'm pretty sure OKC brought him in so Kanter had someone to speak Turkish with, but Ilyasova continued to suck and Kanter is no longer that important without the threat of outside shooters. Now that the new salary cap has made Kanter's contract a bit more palatable, he is probably getting traded as well.

From the news today Roberson did not sign his extension offer, so maybe this is his replacement if he hits free agency or we trade him as well.
