your coaches strengths vs weaknesses

Not sure what Thibs weaknesses are yet.

The only real negative I heard is that he plays his starters too much, hasn't been that way yet.

You probably didn't see some Chicago playoff games where they were SO STAGNANT on offense, bleeding for points vs the Wizards and he refused to make adjustments and even play his best shooter in Mike Dunleavy.
As much as I love Thibs bec of his great defensive schemes, the guy can be too hard headed.

Mike Malone:

Pros: Getting through to young players

Cons: Getting through to young players that they can still play AAU defense

It's a very young team , I remember Mark Jackson proclaiming when he got to coach GSW that they will be a very good defensive team, and yet it didn't happened right away.
btw, tough loss last night, but even sadder news was losing Barton to injury.
This can hamper their chances esp with Harris still not playing.

positives:
- good at getting DUIs
- really great friends with one of our owners
- has connections around the league (Gary Payton, John Stockton, etc to mentor young guys on team)

negatives:
- terrible coach

= doesn't preach defense first (.)
