Exactly. If that happens the Cavs become the 11' Heat: two elite players, a third all-star and scrubs after that. The Bulls' depth would give them a shot over that Cavs team.

Except worse, because one of the elite players doesn't do defense.

    Disgusting.

Their bench mob could beat the Jazz in a 7-game series.

Reports out of Chicago saying there's no truth to these rumors. They're being created by Minnesota to drive up the Cavs' price.

Just a rumor to put pressure on Cle. Anyone with any common sense knows that Love isn't going to the Bulls.

So Marc Stein and every big outlet is trotting out fake reports?

I doubt it. We were after Love before Cleveland and we can offer a better package of better players right now.

We can't include Mirotic or McBuckets yet in any deal because they just signed their contracts. We'd have to wait 30 days.

If we can steal Love, man that frontcourt would be disgusting. We would just lack D on the perimeter.

Chicago is 'in' on every big UFA every year. They just never close the deal and get the player.

And this is why this is just a rumor to ramp up the price for the Cavs. If Cleveland has to give up Bennett and Wiggins and something else...The Bulls have a team that can still beat the Cavs. If Love is a Cav and Wiggins stays...its 4 years of hell for the Eastern conference again.

Yes. Literally everyone that isn't emotional about this has brought up the fact that Wiggins could just not be very good.

I feel like I haven't read it anywhere. Its like a sure fire thing for most that he will be a star.

People are emotional about this...and then you have a lot of Lebron haters that would blame him for Wiggins not turning out.

So you aren't seeing a lot of level headed talk here or anywhere.

Obviously the Cavs should trade Wiggins to get Love....however, they shouldn't give up as much as is being reported...while also absorbing Barea/Martin...without getting something else back.

But yea....there is a really good chance that Wiggins never gets as good as 25 year old Love. A really good chance.

Bulls with Love? I can dig it. It's Noah, and Thibs that make their team defense so dominant. Love just makes them an even better rebounding team than they already are. Makes recent addition Gasol expendable, and I'd rather keep Jimmy Butler than Pau. Otherwise, our front court is LOADED. Coaches must be high on McDermott, and Mirotic if that's the case. Getting Love makes losing Deng even worse.
