Even though I don't like him, Chris Bosh should be on everyone's list. 24pt/12rb/1blk is pretty darn impressive.

Two names on a lot of lists that definitely do not belong there are Bosh and Durant. Neither play any defense whatsoever.

Bosh is possibly the worst defender in the league (by choice). It is embarrassing watching him "play defense." He backpedals and limbos out of the way of people driving to the basket. There are 19 power forwards and 35 centers with enough minutes to qualify that have more blocks per 48 minutes. He is tall and athletic and could be one of the leaders if he tried. It is astounding that he even has 1 block per game the way he plays. Offensively Bosh is pretty great, so he is quite possibly a top 20 player, but no way top 10.

Durant is also a poor defender but not nearly as horrid as Bosh. He tries, but he is too weak to guard a lot of SFs in the league. He does get some steals and blocks which is nice. Offensively he is very good because of his excellent scoring ability, but he is not a complete offense player by any means. He will be a top 10 player relatively soon (w/in a year or two), if he just improves a little, but for now, he really can't be considered better than guys like Pierce or Garnett or Nash or whoever else is a borderline top 10 player.

I think Roy is overrated here. He's probably a hair better than JJ as they're both 20/5/5 players. Neither are shooting high percentages and Roy is no better of a defensive player. And i don't even like Joe.

1.Lebron James-Yeah, I know... Kobe's team has the better record, but he has more talent to work with and LA has had a VERY favorable schedule. No doubt the league was doing it's thing to make sure LA got off to the best start possible.

2.Kobe Bryant

3.Dirk Nowitzki

4.Carmello Anthony

5.Dwight Howard

6.Chris Paul

7.Dwayne Wade

8.Steve Nash

9.Deron Williams

10.Pau Gasol

It's strange making a list like this with no Duncan or KG.

Bosh has really tried hard on D this year, and actually done a half decent job. Also Bosh has to carry that team and his team is so inconsistent it isn't even funny. Not to mention that the Raps have recently gotten hit by the injury bug.

And he is no where near the worst defender in the L. Hell there are at least three worse on his own team .

By far the best list so far, but I'd have Duncan on the list and not Yao. The 8 spot is probably right.
