The Detroit Pistons announced today that the club has selected Henry Ellenson with the 18th pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft held on Thursday, June 23. The club also selected Michael Gbinije (Ben-ih-jhay) with the 49th pick in the second round.

Ellenson, a 6-foot-11 forward from Marquette, averaged 17.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.5 blocks and 33.5 minutes in 33 games last season.
