Re: Put 1991-1993 MJ on this Bulls team
Come on guys there is no way Hinrich is behind Brooks in the depth chart.
Hinrich has been a starter the past 2 years and will be a key role player for this team.

In this East? In this NBA? With the GOAT? Healthy Derrick Rose? Not only does their defense get better, they get the playmaking, and best volume scoring, late game clutch ability possible of all-time.
This team wins 67 - 74 games, eventual champions.
With Pippen?
PG - D. Rose / Brooks
SG - Butler / Hinrich
SF - Pippen / MCD / Dunleavy
PF - Gasol / Mirotic
C - Noah / Gibson
This team wins 58 - 65 games, NBA Finalists, possible champs.
at the second part. Even without Pippen they will win around 60 games yet you add Pippen (replacing Dunleavy and a rookie) and the needle doesn't move?

Adding Jordan would make the Bulls title favorites. IF everyone stays healthy, on every team, it's a likely title. 90% chance they win.
But I think current Bulls would be better with current Durant than with prime Jordan. Not saying Durant is better, but the fit is infinitely better.

Similar to Durant, I think Pippen is a better fit than Jordan. Not a better player, but a better fit for this currently constructed Bulls team.

While my gut says finals, I will also acknowledge that the NBA and ESPN has anointed Lebron as the current "alpha". Does that mean Jordan no longer gets GOAT-level deference by the refs? Will he be in foul trouble against Lebron, who cant get called for fouls, or will the league revert back to Jordan immuniity? It would be interesting to watch their matchup and the refs be confused who to favour ha ha.
I think that team goes to the Finals, but the Cavs will give them trouble.
