Zach Lowe wrote a GREAT piece on Manu:

He also had a podcast with Brett Brown (who worked player development for the Spurs when Manu was coming up) and they talked about him with the reverence he deserves.

Those are great starting blocks to talk about one of the truly special and unique players the league has seen. Basketball is played with a certain cadence and rhythm. Manu challenged the very rhythm of the game. He moves and sees things like no one else does. He moves between steps; he throws passes that seemingly have no hope of reaching their mark, until they do exactly that. And while he might not be a top 20 player, he is as unique a player that exists and has always been one of my favorite guys to watch.

However, lets not pretend he wasn't a GREAT player. His impact was enormous. And as we develop advanced stats I think we are going to reflect on what a GREAT player he was too.
