It IS the right attitude.
But the play making could use some refinement

The Main reason Kobe has gotten away with his attitude for the past 2 decades....
is Because he works the hardest at his profession. He puts in the time to become a great player...If you work the hardest then aint no one can say sh!t to you.

Exactly the thing he dont give a crap about. Everyone only seems to focus on FG% when that is wrong. other players balk at shooting the last shot, try to pass off and cause turnovers, shot clock violations, etc. Kobe's one guy who isn't afraid to take the shot, which makes him very dangerous in those type of situations. Even some plays where people rag him for turn out well. Remember those last second put backs by Pau and MWP in the playoffs? Who do you think is drawing their defenders away from the basket? Kobe is distorting the defence because they know he isnt afraid to shoot the ball, leaving other guys open to get rebounds if necessary.
If you watch other teams, they stick to their man, making the trailing team scramble around trying to find a shot. With Kobe over his career, he forces the defence to react to him and usually double team him.

5-22 doesn't seem very dangerous

Kobe is a really great unique basketball player and this attitude is really what makes him even greater. I don't get those haters, maybe if you are a born celtics fan or he crushed your team, but hate him because, without a reason is silly but it doesn't matter cause he doesn't really care so it makes them irrelevant. I love basketball and Kobe is one of the players who makes it so fine and good to watch.

Absolutely love Kobe's attitude. He is spot-on. The media and fans are fickle. If you put in the work he does and don't shy away from the big moments, then people will respect you for that. Trying to pander to people gets you nowhere but frustrated.
That 5-22 number lacks context, which means it will be used over and over again by haters to tear Kobe down. When did they occur? Was Shaq even on the team? Was Shaq on the bench in foul trouble? Gasol was great for being so reliably consistent; he wasn't known as a go-to guy in crunch-time. Who else would take the shots? Fisher made a few memorable ones. Big Shot Rob too. Shaq of course was dominant anytime. But again, those numbers lack any context. If many of them came post-Shaq, then everybody knew that Kobe was the go-to-guy in the 4th quarter.
But whatever. Haters will hate, while most (even Celtics homer Simmons) respect Kobe's legacy and realize the league will be lesser when he retires.
