For Lebron so loved the idea of returning home...
That he wants to overhaul the team by offloading their young talent and gathering former teammates to play with him?
On top of that, he commits to 1 year with a second year option. If he is so adamant about helping this team, why not just commit to the max now over 4 or 5 years? And once the new cap comes in, he allows for more cap space so the management can sign other good players around him..
That humble, gracious and wonderful guy...where does the media narrative make sense here.
It doesn't.

Its all business bruh. Signing a 2-yr contract gives him the most money that cavs can offer at the moment. Once the contract expires he then could sign for a 4yr contract around 97mil
Lebron and his fans and media portray his action as loyalty, but in a non bias persons perspective, its all about money and the attention that he gets from coming back to The Cavs

This is a business. Lebron's goal is to bring a championship to Cleveland. That's it. He has no ties to any of the talent there. Absolutely none. He doesnt care what happens to them and he shouldnt. All this unroven young talent is just useless hype for Lebron.
As for the rest of your post,
There is nothing wrong with the best player in the world trying to get paid.

The guy is mega rich and will make bucket loads of cash in endorsements etc because of his move to Cleveland.
The cap provides flexibility for the management to fit players around him. Taking the biggest chunk possible out of it does not help your team get better or your situation.
Its just pure selfishness and greed.

Go to Cleveland, win a championship, then go back to where he belongs in Miami, and win 4 more.

I've been saying this for the longest. Lebron wins a ring these first two years and he's gone.

If he left Cleveland again, even I would fear for his safety...
