Default John Wall playing some great basketball right now

Wall is averaging about 24 points per game, 9 assists and 4 rebounds with decent efficiency, but the Wizards are still trash. Still, he deserves some credit for his play up to this point, so here it is.

Scott Brooks just came out after the Raptors loss and said Wall was their worst defender on the floor.

Jinx thread. Possibly his worst game of the year so far tonight, 10 turnovers in 3 quarters.

But OP is right, Wall has gotten off to a good start this season.

Bradley Beal is averaging 29/5/4 on 50% shooting in last 5 games. (3-2 record)

John Wall is averaging 24/10/5 on 43% shooting w/ 5 TOVs a game.

And for the year beal is 21/3/3 on 44/38 and wall is 23/4/9 on 45/38, whats ur point?

A 5 game stretch doesnt erase the other games, Wall has been quite clearly the best player, beal been pretty underwhelming.

My point is im responding to OP who specifies "right now" and "the wizards [outside Wall] are still trash". that is an inaccurate statement when Bradley Beal has been lighting it up.. nevermind Otto Porter making a leap in every statistical category, and Gortat being a borderline All star big man. The excuses are becoming further and further reaches by the day.

Ok i get where you are coming front. But to be honest, while the Wizards have some decent players (Otto and Gortat), the team is quite bad aside from Wall and Beal. And Beal hasnt been that good beside this 5 game stretch.

And last but not least, they have Scoot Brooks. You know, that guy that managed not to win a title with OKC. Yeah, he is pretty bad.
