    Default Shabazz Muhammad player profile

    CBS Sports reports:

Shabazz Muhammad, Height: 6'6", Weight: (???) lbs., High School: Bishop Gorman (Nev.), AAU team: Dream Vision, Position: Small forward, Comparison: James Harden

Why he's No. 1: Outstanding lefty scorer, great when driving to the rim. Unstoppable in the mid-range and with pull-up jumper. Very good athleticism.

Why he's not No. 1: Perimeter shooting is inconsistent, and is not as effective going to his right. Ball-handling also needs some work, as he aspires to be a shooting guard.

What kind of pro: Will have to improve dexterity and outside jumper, but he has a long NBA career ahead of him.

Recruiting: UCLA, Kentucky, Duke, UNLV, Memphis, Kansas, Arizona, Texas.

I didn't even notice 220 in the OP. I mean, he might be in the 200 neighborhood, but he's nowhere near 220. Maybe it was a typo meant to be 200?

From what I've seen and read on Muhammad he has a killer mid-range game but his three point shot is severely lacking at this point. Kobe and Harden are both good three point shooters but I'm not sure how good of three point shooters they were the summer entering their senior year.

I've heard UCLA is in on him just as hard.

Ben Howland might be out of a job by the time he arrives on campus, so he might just end up at UK.

Yeah, I read that many feel UCLA is the frontrunner. And I ideally, I would not want him at Kentucky but we need Archie BAD.

He'd be great for UCLA... that program needs a big time star to bring it back to prominence. I'm someone who loves the blue bloods being strong... UCLA and IU need to get back on the map

This kid's never going to set foot on a college campus as a student.
