I liked the movie Limitless but the tv show they're making looks to me like the old "eccentric genius detective" routine with the twist this time being the guy is so smart because he's on drugs and he is with the CIA or FBI or whatever. I get enough of that from Sherlock and Dr. Who. I predict that at least once the plot will hinge on the main character running out of his smart pills and having to find a new supply. Like Popeye with his spinach. If the series lasts long enough they may have an episode where he runs out of pills and has to get it done without them entirely as some kind of statement of what a great guy the main character is at his core. But overall the series is going to have to face the fact that it's core message to the world is this:

You can't excel in this world without meth-amphetamines.

Never even saw the Minority Report movie. May check it out one day.
